Security Procedures For Colosseum Presentations
CinemaCon and NATO continue to look out for the safety and welfare of all attendees. This year when attending studio events in The Colosseum you will notice some enhanced security measures implemented to further our goal of ensuring your well-being.
In addition to our expert team of Night Vision Security Guards on hand to protect the integrity of the material shown on screen and Metro Police Officers roaming the premises, what follows are some important heightened procedures you should familiarize yourself with:
—Bag Checks: All guests with large bags, bag packs, large purses and handbags (even the official CinemaCon Goody Bag and Trade Show Giveaway Bags), will be asked to enter through the special Bag Check Entrance Door, located on the far left side of The Colosseum landing area. Our recommendation is NOT to bring these items to the theater so as to expedite your admittance. There is no doubt the Bag Check line will move slowly compared to other entrances.
—K9 Team Member: As another security enhancement, we’ve added a member of the K-9 patrol.
—Stanchions and Lines: In order to orchestrate a more orderly admission into The Colosseum, an organized system of stanchions will be utilized. This will also allow our security team to look out for anyone who may have a large bag/backpack. As always, official “Admit One” registration credentials or specific event tickets are required to gain admittance.
Before and after the lights go down, we will be working to make sure we have done everything possible so you can enjoy each presentation. We thank you in advance for your patience, understanding and cooperation as it concerns CinemaCon Security.
And now, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
