Movie theaters cannot thrive on big-budget blockbusters alone. As proven by the recent big-screen success of "Anatomy of a Fall", "Anyone But You", "The Boys in the Boat", "Godzilla Minus One", "The Holdovers", "M3GAN", and "Poor Things", to name a few, film fans crave a wide variety of stories. Mid-budget films are essential to a healthy theatrical marketplace, and they deserve to be seen on the big screen. On this panel, representation from distribution and exhibition, will discuss how to work together more effectively to bring audiences out in greater numbers for these films.
Barco, CinemaCon and NATO invite delegates to a special reception. Join your friends and colleagues as we celebrate the beginning of what we know will be a great week for the industry.
(Doors open at 5:45pm)
Ryan Gosling stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, after an almost career-ending accident, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie— being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt)—goes missing. Now, this working-class hero has to solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. Inspired by the hit 1980s TV series, “The Fall Guy” is directed by the blockbuster filmmaker of “Bullet Train” and “Deadpool 2”, David Leitch.
