In theaters currently, we have Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which sees the previous cast returning with the film returning to the original New York City and Firehouse setting and Crunchyroll/Sony’s Spy X Family Code: White . On May 3, Screen Gems’ Tarot, written and directed by Spenser Cohen & Anna Halberg, will be released in theaters. The film follows a group of friends who recklessly violate the sacred rule of Tarot readings – never use someone else’s deck and unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. The film stars Harriet Slater, Adain Bradley, Avantika, Wolfgang Novogratz, Humberly González, Larsen Thompson and Jacob Batalon. On May 24, the sarcastic, lazy, lasagna loving, Monday-hating Garfield is back in The Garfield Movie. The voice cast is a stellar lineup of acting and comedic talent including Chris Pratt, Samuel L. Jackson, “Ted Lasso” stars Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein, “Saturday Night Live” regulars Cecily Strong and Bowen Yang, Nicholas Hoult and Ving Rhames. Summer kicks off with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence returining to the fourth film in Bad Boys: Ride or Die on June 7. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are also returning to direct from a script by Chris Bremner, which sees the previous cast from Bad Boys: For Life returning, including Paola Núnez, Vanessa Hudgens and Alexander Ludwig. June 21 sees the theatrical release of Wayfarer Studios’ highly anticipated It Ends With Us . The film is based on Colleen Hoover’s highest selling novel and stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni with Baldoni directing. Christy Hall wrote the screenplay and also stars Jenny Slate, Brandon Sklenar, and Hasan Minhaj. On July 12, we are partnering with Apple Original Films to release in theaters the Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum’s untitled film. The film is directed by multi- award winning director and producer Greg Berlanti and written by Rose Gilroy. On August 2, comes the live-action hybrid adaptation of Harold and the Purple Crayon, starring Zachary Levi. Based on Crockett Johnson’s best-selling children’s book, two- time Academy Award filmmaker Carlos Saldanha directed the film. From AFFIRM Films, comes The Kendrick Brothers’ The Forge, on August 23. In June, Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions!
