Washington D.C. (February 3, 2011) – CinemaCon 2011, the official convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), proudly announces that Coca-Cola will serve as the “Official Presenting Sponsor” for its inaugural convention, set to take place from March 28 – 31, 2011 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
When it debuts in 2011, CinemaCon will be the largest and most important annual gathering of cinema owners and operators from around the world. CinemaCon will attract upwards of 5,000 motion picture professionals from all facets of the industry — from exhibition and distribution, to the equipment and concession areas — all on hand to celebrate the cinema industry, the moviegoing experience and the cinema industry. From exclusive Hollywood product presentations highlighting a slate of upcoming films, to must-see premiere feature screenings, to the biggest stars, producers and directors, CinemaCon will help jumpstart the excitement and buzz that surrounds the summer season at the box office.
“CinemaCon is simply thrilled to be partnering with Coca-Cola,” noted Mitch Neuhauser, Managing Director of CinemaCon. “When it comes to the motion picture theater industry, no single company exemplifies partnership more than our friends at Coca-Cola. Dedicated to promoting the theatrical experience worldwide, Coca-Cola is innovative, on the cutting edge and highly regarded when it comes to their incredible promotional efforts and campaigns from both the exhibition and distribution sides of the business.”
“Since Coca-Cola was first served in movie theaters in the early 1920s, our brands have been a refreshing part of the movie-going experience for almost 90 years,” said Stefanie Miller, Group Vice President, Strategic Partnership Marketing, Coca-Cola Refreshments. “Through our association with CinemaCon, we’re able to connect and collaborate with our valued theater industry partners and create moviegoing experiences that bring moments of happiness to people every day in theaters around the world.”
The CinemaCon schedule will be broad, diverse and educational, and will feature a trade show and demonstration suite area, located on three levels of the Caesars Palace Conference Center. Coordinated and run in association with its trade show partners, ICTA (International Cinema Technology Association) and NAC (National Association of Concessionaires), the CinemaCon trade show will be largest of its kind, presented solely for the cinema industry. CinemaCon is delighted to call Caesars Palace its home. As one of Las Vegas’ leading casino hotels, the upscale surroundings will offer all delegates the very best with its beautiful new conference center, finest hotel accommodations and world-class restaurants. In addition, a magnificent state-of-the-art theatre, The Colosseum, will accommodate all delegates under the same roof at once.
