Following that, Pine will star in “Jack Ryan” for Paramount Pictures, in which he will play the film’s title character, based on bestselling author Tom Clancy’s popular action hero. The film also stars Keira Knightley and Kevin Costner, and will open in theaters 25 December, 2013.
Pine graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. His most recent film credits include DreamWorks Animation’s “Rise of the Guardians,” Touchstone Pictures’ drama “People Like Us,” and the 20th Century Fox action-comedy “This Means War.” His additional film credits include “Unstoppable,” “Star Trek,” “Bottle Shock” and “Smokin’ Aces,” among others.
