Tuesday, 4/26 10am – 3pm Jenn Lupo 720.253.7202 jennifer.lupo@ncm.comWe are so excited to be back at CinemaCon and celebrate our 2021 collaboration on The Tender Bar, A Hero , and Being The Ricardos , which scored three Oscar nominations. Thank you for your support in getting these films in front of your audiences. 2022 is going to be a great year, a true bounce back for our industry that would be worthy of its own movie. We’ve already done well with Master and All The Old Knives and think that our remaining slate is strong and diverse, filled with theatrical releases that will keep your patrons coming back to the cinema. Our first post-CinemaCon release is Emergenc y. Ready for a night of legendary partying, three college students, played by RJ Cyler, Sebastian Chacon, Donald Elise Watkins, must weigh the pros and cons of calling the police when faced with an unexpected situation. From first-time director Carey Williams, the film played to raucous crowds and positive reviews at SXSW; it hits your theatres May 20th. Keeping with our pursuit of Oscars, we have several films that have nominations written all over them. First is Catherine Called Birdy , which follows the adventures of a 14-year-old girl in medieval England, as she navigates life while avoiding potential suitors her father has in mind. Directed by Lena Dunham, this adaptation of the beloved children’s novel stars Andrew Scott and Bella Ramsey as the titular Birdy. The film releases Fall 2022. Our film My Policeman , based on the popular novel, stars Harry Styles as Tom, in his first leading role. Along with David Dawson as Patrick and Emma Corrin as Marion, the film tells the story of Patrick’s arrival into Marion and Tom’s home, which triggers the exploration of seismic events from 40 years previous. From director Michael Grandage, this beautifully crafted drama will excite your smarthouse audience in Fall 2022. We also continue to explore the documentary space, this time with Good Night Oppy . The film follows Opportunity, the Mars Exploration Rover affectionately dubbed Oppy by her creators and scientists at NASA. Oppy was originally expected to live for only 90 days but she ultimately explored Mars for nearly 15 years. Watch this fall as she is brought to life by rare archival footage and interviews with the people who helped her take the nation by storm. Look for this enthralling doc to hit your theatres late Fall 2022. To our partners in exhibition, we thank you for your continued support and look forward to discussing our slate with you this week. Have a wonderful convention! MARK BOXER President, Distribution Amazon StudiosNext >
